“Yoga and Meditation on the rise among US adults and kids.”
Dear Christian Yogis,
According to the new report published by the National Center for Complementary Health, NIH,
more than 42% of Americans use “complementary health approaches” such as yoga and
meditation to manage symptoms like chronic pain and to cultivate a general sense of wellbeing.
To meet these students where they are let’s brush up on our asana sequences for a healthy lower
back (strong core muscles and flexible hamstrings) and our class themes that help our students
leave class feeling a greater sense of wellbeing. Like Jona in the belly of the Whale we hope that
students find our classes to be a reprieve from the stresses of life, a safe place to rest, and feeling
energized to re-engage with the circumstances and situations of their lives with a greater sense of
ease and confidence.
