Dayna Gelinas, Anchor Your Soul Under the Flow of the Living Water – A Restorative sequence that will position you to receive the fullness of His presence from head to toe

E-RYT 500, and a CYA Master Trainer, R-CYAMT, Founder of New Day Yoga, a CYA Registered School, R-CYAS, and Yoga for the Christian Woman, an online community.

Hi! I’m Dayna Gelinas! I guess you could call me a pioneer of Christ-centered yoga. I founded New Day Yoga: Yoga from a Christian Perspective in 2003, where I created, taught, and led 200-hour and 300-hour Christian Yoga Teacher Trainings and Retreats for 17 years. Then when 2020 happened, I was encouraged to start an online community called Yoga for the Christian Woman. Although I love teaching teachers how to teach and students how to practice, my heart really longs to see the regular, Christian, church-going woman FULFILLED—aligning her spirit, soul, body, and life with Christ through the practices of Christ-centered yoga. Daily Devotion + Conflict Resolution + Temple Maintenance + Purposeful Rhythm = FULFILLED, and these are the four “pillars” I emphasize in my teaching. I’d love to connect with you! So please “Friend” me, Dayna Gelinas, on Facebook and join the community Yoga for the Christian Woman

Sunday

Haley Cottey: How Creation Can Draw Us Closer To The Heart Of God, Asana + Virtual grounding – Forest Bathing Practice

Haley has had a love for nature since she was a little girl. Growing up, she would explore the woods behind her house and day dream about exploring mountains, jungles and forests. It wasn’t until she was older that she realized that this was where she felt the heart of God in a way she never felt anywhere else. At 20 years old, Haley went on a 40 day backpacking trip in Wyoming with an organization called Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries and it completely transformed her life and view of the wilderness and how God meets us in some of the most wild places in life. She met her husband (CJ) a year later and they bonded over their shared backpacking experiences (he had done 23 days in Colorado when he was 18 with Outward Bound) and have gone on multiple backpacking trips since then. They also have an outdoor lifestyle, often hiking, playing outside with their 2 girls (Della and Anya), gardening, grounding and Haley leads the majority of her yoga classes outside followed by guided hikes with their business, ExploreMore. She firmly believes that we can enjoy creation anywhere, not just in the wilderness of the mountains and one of the best ways for people to meet the heart of God is to get in His creation. Today, Haley’s business teaches outdoor yoga classes, backpacking workshops, forest bathing experiences and more. Haley is also the North Texas Leave No Trace State Advocate and is passionate about not just getting out and exploring God’s creation but also caring for it. Join Haley to learn how you can connect with the heart of God in a transformative way in your own backyard.
