A Registered Christian Yoga Association Trainer, R-CYAT, completes a minimum of 200 hours through a teacher training program or comparable and substantial teaching experience. All Christ-centered classes offered by R-CYAT will be listed on the CYA Directory.

A Registered Christian Yoga Association Master Trainer, R-CYAMT, completes a minimum of 300 hours, in addition to a 200-hour teacher training program, or has comparable and substantial teaching experience. All Christ-centered classes offered by R-CYAMT will be listed on the CYA Directory.

    • The Christian Yoga Instructor that has completed a 300-hour teacher training, obtaining 500 hours of from a teacher training program and/or teaching from a Christian perspective for 2 years.

A Registered Christian Yoga Association Therapist, R-CYATH, completes a minimum of 800 hours of a yoga therapy-focused teacher training program, has been teaching Christ-centered yoga therapy for a minimum of one year, or has comparable and substantial yoga therapy teaching experience. All Christ-centered classes offered by R-CYATH will be listed on our directory.

  • This membership is ideal for:
    • The Christian Yoga Therapist who offers large group teachings as well as small group and individualized Christ-centered yoga therapy sessions.
  • Includes:

A Christian Yoga Association School meets CYA’s education standards with qualified lead trainers teaching from a Christ centered curriculum. Becoming a Registered School is an easy and informal process. R-CYAS offers a 200-YTT program and may also provide continued education/specialty programs. To register a school, a minimum of one Lead Trainer must be a CYA Mater Trainer. Please register as a Master Trainer, R-CYAMT, in conjunction with this application. All Christ centered programs offered will be listed on our directory.

Becoming a Registered School is an easy and informal process. R-CYAMS may also provide continued education/specialty programs. A minimum of two Lead Trainers must be CYA Master Trainers. A minimum of two Lead Trainer must be CYA Therapists. Please register as a CYA Therapist, R-CYATH, in conjunction with this application. Apply as a CYA Continued Education Provider

Schools registering with the Christian Yoga Association must have one lead trainer that is registered as a CYA Master Trainer (R-CYAMT).
